Ray is geboren in Roemenië in een muzikale familie. Als jong talent sleepte hij vele prijzen in de wacht in beide zijn thuisland als internationaal.Vanaf zijn 20e reist hij door Europa, zowel in pianobars als in diverse bands. Met zijn brede pallet aan kennis is een avond bij Ray een genot.
